Quick answer: Choose 4 hours when you have one main priority plus a nearby extra. Choose 8 hours when you want 2–3 major experiences, a real food break and room to adapt. Current 1–2 guest prices are $250 and $400 respectively.

$4001–2 guests · 8-hour Medellín full day

What four hours does well

Four hours is enough for a meaningful private city experience if the route is tight. It works well for Comuna 13 plus a nearby city stop, Botero and Centro, a focused museums-and-culture morning, or a scenic route for guests who prefer less walking.

What it does badly is three neighborhoods on opposite sides of the valley. Every additional cross-city move burns the exact thing you bought: time.

What eight hours changes

The full day changes the rhythm more than the raw stop count. You can spend longer at the stop that surprises you, add lunch without resenting it, and still have another major experience in the afternoon.

It also gives the host options. If rain arrives or traffic builds, you can swap an outdoor stop for a museum or coffee without feeling that half the booking disappeared.

How our model works: The city theme does not change the base price. You are reserving the private vehicle, professional driver, host and time block. Admissions, meals and optional extras stay separate unless explicitly stated.

Price difference and value

For 1–2 guests, the current public price is $250 for four hours and $400 for eight. The extra four hours cost $150, which is why the full day is the better hourly value if you genuinely want a full day.

For 3–6 guests, the rate rises because the group needs a larger vehicle. The theme still does not change the city price; the time block and group size do.

Who should book four hours

Book four if you have a late arrival, an evening reservation, young kids, limited stamina, or one clear thing you care about. It is also a smart first afternoon after a flight when everyone wants to see something without committing to a marathon.

A half day is not a lesser product. It is simply a tighter brief.

Who should book eight hours

Book eight if this is your only city day, if you want Comuna 13 plus Centro or museums, if food matters, or if your group wants flexibility more than a checklist.

If you are still unsure, start with the route rather than the clock. See the four-hour examples and see the eight-hour examples, then choose the one that feels like your pace.

Bottom line

Choose the day that fits the people traveling, not the longest list of attractions. If you know your date and group size, we can turn the priorities above into a Route Card and confirm what actually fits.
