El Poblado is convenient, but not central to everything
Many visitors stay in El Poblado, and pickup there is straightforward. But starting in Poblado does not mean every attraction is nearby. A smart route avoids crossing the same parts of the valley repeatedly.
Laureles changes the geometry
Laureles can make western and central stops easier to combine, depending on traffic and the rest of the route. It also gives a different neighborhood feel from Poblado, which can be useful if your group wants to understand more than one side of the city.
Envigado deserves its own logic
Envigado is south of the main Medellín core. It can work beautifully for travelers who want food, local neighborhoods, or a south-valley start, but it makes some northern stops more expensive in time on a short day.
Why we ask for the actual hotel or Airbnb
A neighborhood name is useful for quoting. A specific building or hotel is useful for operating. Pickup gates, one-way streets, steep access, and building entrances can change the first ten minutes of the day.
Our standard pickup area
Our standard pricing includes pickup in El Poblado, Laureles, and Envigado. For other areas, send the address and we confirm any additional transport charge before booking.
Bottom line
The best private day is not the one with the longest attraction list. It is the one where the route, pace, vehicle and time block match the people actually traveling. If you already know your date and group size, use the planner below and we can turn these ideas into a Route Card.
Our city half day is 4 hours from $250 for 1–2 guests, and the full day is 8 hours from $400. Larger-group pricing reflects the larger vehicle required.
